Condolence

Dear Ascension Family Members,

This is to inform you that Mr. P. V. Kuncheria (89), Father of our members Mrs. Mary N.

Varghese (Sheela)A/C No.144 & Mrs. Shiny George A/C No. 118, Jerusalem Prayer group was called to eternity in Kerala. The details of the funeral will be informed later. Kindly uphold the bereaved family members in your prayers.

Let us praise God for the Blessed life of Mr. P.V. Kuncheria and pray that God may strengthen the dear ones with the peace that passeth all understanding.

Worship Schedule:

Coming Sunday January 17 th there will be Malayalam Holy Communion service @10:30 AM, which will be live streamed from our sanctuary. The City of Philadelphia reduced the religious gathering to 5% of the occupancy. Therefore, the first 40 members who are signing up are only allowed to attend the service in person at our sanctuary. All remaining members are requested to stay at home and prayerfully participate in the live stream.

Salem Prayer meeting:

Salem Prayer fellowship will be held today evening 7pm on zoom video. Mr. Jeswin John will share the Word of God. Every one’s prayerful participation is requested.

Young Women’s fellowship:

Young Women’s fellowship will be held today after Worship service at 12.30 pm on Zoom

Video. Lisha Kochamma will lead the session. Evening prayer meeting Zoom ID will be used.

Sevika Sanghom:

There will be Sevika Sanghom Meeting on Wednesday January 13 th 10 am via Teleconference.

Youth Fellowship meeting:

Youth fellowship meeting will be held on Friday, 15 th January 6pm on zoom video. All Youth fellowship members are requested to prayerfully participate.

Weekdays and Weekend Prayer Meeting: There will be evening prayer meetings on

14,15,16,17 Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7pm to 8pm.

Sunday School:   There will be Sunday School on Sunday, January 17 th 9am to 10 am on Zoom

video.

Southeast Regional Edavaka Mission:

Southeast regional Edavaka Mission monthly meeting will be held on Monday, January 18, 8.00pm via teleconference.

Deacon Ordination:

The Deacon Ordination of our member Mr. Jeswin Simon John will be held at Kumplathanam St.John’s Marthoma Church on Thursday, January 21st 7:30am. The Ordination service will be live streamed on DSMC Media. Please keep Jeswin and the Ordination service in your prayers.

Worship Schedule:

Weekdays and Weekend Prayer Meeting: There will be no evening prayer meetings this weekend.

Christmas Service: We will be having our Christmas Holy Communion Service in English on Friday Dec 25th at 9:00 AM.  A sign-up sheet will be sent out and first 40 members who are signing up are only allowed to attend the service in person. All remaining members are requested to stay at home and prayerfully participate in the live stream.

Sunday School:   There will be no Sunday School on Dec 27th. On Sunday, December 27th evening 6.00PM there will be a talent show of our Sunday school children on Zoom video. Details will be informed later.

Sevika Sanghom:  There will be No Sevika Sanghom Meetings on Dec23rd and Dec 30th
